Wonderful

I had my last featherbed for 6 years and I loved it but when I went to get it cleaned I get it done every three months the cleaner told me that they should be replaced at least...at least every 2 years; dust mites get into the mattress there is no way to avoid it. So I finally look at several and this one looked to be the best. Not only is it stuffed full of feathers it also has a quilt on top of it for better comfort and support. I have to say I slept wonderful. My other featherbed gave me comfort like this in the begining but I had forgotten how good it felt and now I remember. In two years time I will be buying another of the same. Something about the quilted layer it gives a wonderful feeling of added softness. Pinzon mattress pad

I am surprised that there is not any reviews on this product. Initially I loved this mattress pad. However a couple weeks later I have found that the feathers inside this product are not soft and begin to poke through regularly. It will be good for a second bed for guests but every night is like sleeping with a few rough feathers poking at you. WOOOOOOW!!!

I can sleep all night in the same position and wake up without a sore back. I have some of the most restful sleep on this feather bed - it's warm without being overly so and supportive. But also - it's soft! Amazing.More detail ...

Protecting the feathers

I dearly love my feather bed. I have had it for years and it turns my normal mattress into a fluffy delight. But sometimes the feathers come poking through the bed and takes away some of the comfort and makes a mess.



I bought this "Feather Bed Cover by Marrikas" to hopefully relieve some of the feather issues and maybe add some shape to my feather bed at the same time.



This is basically a big sack with a zipper on it. You stuff your feather bed inside even it out and now it has a protective cover. It was created specifically to cover Marrikas-band Boxed Feather Bed which have square corners like a regular mattress. I don't have that style but found that this feather bed cover worked anyways.



So problem solved! I am definitely enjoying my feather bed more now that I have this cover.
